Sales Funnels – Converting More Browsers Into Customers

An often misplaced wisdom about websites is that “if you

An often misplaced wisdom about websites is that “if you build it, they will come”. This may have been the case a couple of decades ago, but with so many millions of websites now vying for people’s attention, the ways to attract them has become a lot more complex. While we now need to be both thoughtful and nimble in the strategies we use to attract our ideal clients, the next step has remained unchanged.

What happens when they get there?

Most website owners and small business operators spend a lot of time getting their website looking professional, and loading quickly.

But do you know what happens after people arrive?

Looking After the Inside

An analogy explains what I mean here. If you were selling your home, you would definitely put some work into making sure the kids’ bikes were put away, getting the yard clear of leaves, and trimming the hedges. That’s the “build” part of your website.

But after putting in all that effort, it wouldn’t be worth much if prospective buyers walked through the door and they were confronted with a messy home, with clothes everywhere and a sink full of dishes. They will find it difficult to navigate around the clutter in order to see why your home is a good fit for them.

It’s the same with your website. You need to think long and hard about what it is that you want visitors to do once they get “inside”, and to guide their next steps.

A Path to A New Customer

This is where setting up a good sales funnel is priceless. A sales funnel is the path that your site visitors will travel after they arrive on a landing page. Ideally, you want them to begin as a visitor, move through the awareness phase by clicking through your website, and become educated about how your service solves their problems.

If you can do all of these steps effectively, then chances are you will have a prospect who will convert from a lead to a customer. When that happens, without the need for your intervention and product support queries, it’s a beautiful thing.

But it’s also unlikely to happen without some serious effort on your part.

ClickFunnels Can Help

A good sales funnel is no accident. A great one is the result of hours of work, testing, research, trials, and refinement. In fact, entire businesses have been built on the back of convincing huge multinational corporations with billion dollar revenue lines about the merits of hiring sales funnel consultants to get an uptick in conversions.

Fortunately, the secrets for building a high-functioning sales funnel are not the preserve of high-priced consultants and huge conglomerates.

Services like ClickFunnels have been created by business owners, for business owners. To date, they’ve already built over five million sales funnels. That’s not even the impressive part. Those five million funnels have resulted in over $3.5 billion in sales being processed. You read that right – that’s billion with a “B”.

To find out exactly how to take your website visitors and turn them into customers at a higher rate, an education about how to build a sales funnel has to be at the top of your to-do list. Or you can take the hard-won lessons of a proven operator like ClickFunnels and apply them to get those same results, faster.

Currently, there’s a 14-day free trial that I recommend you try, so you can see for yourself what your business is currently missing out on including access to webinars and a coaching program. I’d be very interested in your feedback.

If you can do all of these steps effectively, then chances are you will have a prospect who will convert from a lead to a customer. When that happens, without the need for your intervention and product support queries, it’s a beautiful thing.

But it’s also unlikely to happen without some serious effort on your part.
